I am having so much fun posting a picture each day. I'm not sure if anyone else is enjoying it but it's fun for me to go back through old photos.
This photo was taken at Francisco's Farm Art Festival at Equus Run Vineyards last June. It was a perfect day and not super hot or humid. I debated about whether to take my SLR camera or just our point and shoot. I decided to just take out little point and shoot camera, but you can bet this year I'll be taking my SLR. There was so many beautiful pieces of art and so much color. I spotted this sign among the vineyard and snapped a quick photo. There are a lot of things I like to photograph for no reason....mailboxes, doors, and signs. Enjoy!
It seemed that I was so busy last year just trying to keep up with sessions and weddings that I didn't have a chance to photograph things just for myself. I hope to change that a bit in 2012.
This picture was taken in the wildflower garden in our backyard. Eric has done an amazing job with this garden and in the middle of summer it's full of color. Purple is one of my favorite colors so I love this one. Happy Friday!
I decided to go back a few years for this one. It's the Chapel of the Transfiguration in Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. I'm fortunate to be married to someone who loves to travel as much as I do. We absolutely love it out west! We hear so many people say they only like to go to the beach on vacation. I love the beach too but it doesn't look like this.
Happy New Year everyone! I won't bore you with my resolutions or goals for the year, but I do hope to blog a bit more. I've also updated the pricing and session information for regular sessions and for the Milestones & Memories Collections, where I photograph your child for his/her first year. Please check out the updated pricing info on my website and also check back later in the week for information on new products and session options.
One thing I'm going to try very hard to do is to have a Picture of the Day in addition to my regular blogposts. You can also view these pictures on my Facebook page too, so please take a look and feel free to leave me comments as well. You never know what I might post!
Here's the first Picture of the Day for 2012. This was taken back in November on a gorgeous fall afternoon. I don't even try to photograph horses much but I couldn't resist when I saw these two. I think they were enjoying the perfect fall weather too. Enjoy!
I'm a photographer located in Lexington, Kentucky.
