It almost never fails that each year I have one family who it takes several times to get their session done. Most of the time it's because of weather. This year this happened to the Rogers family and it was because of weather and scheduling conflicts and even a black eye. But in the end everything worked out better than we could have planned. We had great weather, an awesome location and we got to do them at sunset--my absolute favorite time of the day for pictures. Yeah!

I truly appreciate families who come back to me year after year for their family portraits. Even when it looked like this session may not happen this year, I'm glad this family was patient and determined like me to make sure it did.
