Each year I get a little panicky around the end of summer just thinking about fall pictures. I always think this might be the year that no one schedules a session. Of course that hasn't been the case, and for that I am extremely thankful. There are literally hundreds of photographers in the Lexington area, so it means so much when a family wants me to take their pictures.This has been my busiest fall ever and just when I think it's going to slow down, I get requests for more sessions. So as long as the weather is good I am all for taking outdoor pictures.
This family was the first one to book a fall session. We were actually at the neighborhood pool when Carah first mentioned she wanted to book a fall session. At that time, fall seemed so far away. We were blessed by a beautiful afternoon, and Carah didn't even blink an eye when I changed their location at the last minute.
I love close up family shots. This is one of my favorites.
